Targeted Traffic Directed To a Targeted Sales Page Brings Money

When you make a marketing piece, call your friends up, email them, tell them to look at your lead capture page, look at your ad, look at your auto responder series, read through it. Do not ask them what they think, ask them what they thought. Not that they thought it was good, but what were they thinking when they read your pieces. Just ask them, have them look at it and you say what do you think and they say oh great. Well if they say that, you need to change your marketing material.

Now, if you ask them what do you think and they say it made me want to buy the product, that is different. If they do not have the product that you are selling or are a member of it and they say that, they probably would say hey, I would like to get this, what is it that you are talking about, I would like to get it. Well that is a very good marketing piece. Then you can go ahead and spend some money on it, still test it, but you can spend some money on it and tweak it a little bit, until you have the sales process that you want.

If you start out and you are getting one sale out of every hundred op-ins or people that look at your sales page then, you keep tweaking it until you get down to however many sales you want per amount of people that look at the page. We will be putting software in our higher level package, copyrighted software, that basically takes paragraphs, takes headlines and literally compares it to some of the best pulling words and ads and things in the whole world and rates it.

What does that do for me, if I had a headline in a lead capture page or a sales page that might have taken me weeks or even months to get it to, I mean testing it multiple ways, because when you are testing you could change a word or two and you go and get traffic to it. Then you come back and change something, get traffic to it and this could be an ongoing process for days, weeks and months.

What this software will do and we have used this for a while, it literally will safe you money from testing, you do not spend money on testing, it will save you time. It will put more money in your pocket because you will get the right paragraph, the right line, the right headline from fifteen minutes or a half hours worth of playing around with it at what would take you months to get the same results. Literally double and tripling the response rate of the ad without even testing it. This is the type of software and other things that we will be putting in our back office from our rolodex of things that we use on a daily basis.

We will also be putting on some businesses online that either will help you make life easier, or will make you more money. We will be sharing that with you when you purchase the higher level program. If you did not get anything out of this article but to target market and who to target and how to target it, take that and run with it. Take my simple formula, targeted traffic pointed towards a targeted sales page equals commissions. Look at your own business, if it is not doing that, than fix it. Until then you are not going to get the results that you want.

It will make the difference whether you are now making a few thousand dollars a month or ten thousand dollars a month to going up to making thirty, forty or fifty thousand dollars a month, or if you are making forty or fifty thousand dollars a month going up to a hundred or two hundred thousand dollars a month. This stuff matters. If you are going to invest your time and money in this industry, you have to take the time and learn the proper way to do things.

With my company we have videos, this is why we are creating more, we are creating more ebooks, downloadable books that you can download and read and things that show you how to market so you never ever have to worry about not knowing how to target market or get traffic.

Now back to the college thing. So along the same lines, people go to college for four, six, eight years even, to be a doctor. And even doctors come to this industry, I have certainly seen that myself over the past few years, doctors come to this industry. It is the same thing, to make money but not get their degree in this industry on knowing how to target market. They come in here, do everything and not get their degree on learning how to do the proper things in this industry.

So some people come in and join the industry because they are deeply in debt and they are not making any money, they just got laid off their job, they are emotionally distracted and just want to make money and cannot even think and do not want to take the time to learn anything, they just want to make money. Well, they get more upset because they do not make any money because they do not know what they are doing and get mad at everybody else.

Everybody has different situations, there are things in life that happen, people die, people get sick, there are emergency situations that happen in life. But in this industry when you have a home based business you have to treat it as such, if you have a home based business, treat it as a business separate from you. Now, some people need to go as far as to have a separate bank account, separate your money. And these are things that you should talk to you accountant about, but you have to separate yourself from your home based business.

You cannot become emotionally involved in your marketing if you are creating a sales page, or a lead capture page or anything of the sort. You have spent all this time, because most people that become emotionally involved and spend a lot of time and really work hard on something, they spend all this time creating this lead capture page, or this ad, or this sales page, or this auto responder series and they think it is the best thing in the world. They have not tested it or anything, but they think it is the best thing in the world.

And so if they seek advice from anybody they are very defensive about their marketing pieces because they are emotionally involved and even though they are trying to help and get them going in the right direction, they are too emotionally involved to fix their marketing pieces, because they spent too much time on it. Second, they go out there and try marketing with it and do not get the results that they are looking for. Then they blame the product, that it is not good, or other excuses, when in actuality it is their own marketing pieces.

Now when you are target marketing in your home based business, one of the best things that you can do is test, test and tweak. Well, how do you test. You do not create a marketing piece, your ad, your lead capture page, your auto responder series and go out and start spending a thousand dollars a day or a thousand dollars a week on your advertising. You spend a little bit or do some free marketing to test and see how it converts. Then tweak it, test it, tweak it, do not do any major tweaks to it, I mean tweak your headline, tweak some stuff in your sales page, your lead capture page, or your ad.

Another good thing to do is, if you have any friends when you make a marketing piece, call them up, email them, tell them to look at your lead capture page, look at your ad, look at your auto responder series, read through it. Do not ask them what they think, ask them what they thought. Not that they thought it was good, but what were they thinking when they read your pieces.

When you have your own home based business and you learn how to target market online properly, you have the right sales process to close them into a sales of the product that you are selling, you can virtually write whatever amount of money you want. You want more money that month, you are already making ten thousand, you want to make more money, increase your traffic, get your sales process down pat you can increase your traffic. And like I said before, if you know in your sales process that one out of every twenty op-ins converts to a sale, you want to make more money and you are already making ten thousand a month, you just increase the amount of op-ins. Increase the marketing, increase the amount of op-ins and you have more sales.

So that is real control of you life. When you can market online you know you can go out anytime you want not matter what happens, no matter if a company goes down, because you always hear of network marketing companies going down, nothing is forever. If the company goes down you are self sufficient, you can be back next week once you find another product to market, an affiliate product, another network marketing company, another cash program, you can go in there and make money from day one. If you are wondering why you see all the top earners, the heavy hitters, if a company goes down they go to another program and they are making money instantly, a decent income the first month, the first week. That is because they have the process down pat.

I am a student of marketing. I never will know everything, I know a lot, I can do very well, but I am always learning. A person that thinks that they know everything will never progress beyond where they are at right now. They think they know everything, that is it. But when you have control of your life and you know how to market, it feels good. You know what you are doing. Now, here is something to think about. In the world people say you should go to college, and I am not against education, I believe in it, everybody should have an education.

The people in the world routinely say you should go and get a college education, graduate and get a good secure job, and I already described or explained about what I think about a job. This is just my opinion. But people routinely come into this industry and expect to make a lot of money and never learn a single thing. And some of it is their fault and some of it is not. Some of it is in the marketing of companies or people or distributors that say come in, it is easy, you will make a thousand dollars a day from day one, right now. Today you will make a thousand dollars. I will show you how you will make three thousand in the next fifteen days.

That right there, brands people to say that it is easy, we have a movie that will do all the selling for you, and the system will do all the selling for you, you do not have to do a single thing, you do not have to talk to a single person, all you have to do is get the system and do nothing, you pay for it and you are going to make money. That is the message that some people give out. And then they have your money and then you do not make any money. And then you sit there saying this is a scam. Things do not work without people. You still have to get people in the system in order for the system to convert them.

But my system will teach you on the left side of the equation how to get targeted traffic to you site. They might have solved the problem with a targeted sales page and a targeted landing page, but they never showed you how to get targeted traffic. Or they told you to do one thing or another and that does not work and is based on theory, because they only do it themselves and know how to do it, or is general, or they are not sharing the truth in what they actually do. So it is sad, but that happens, people come into this industry expecting to make money and not learn anything.

I am not going to lead you astray and say go put ads here or do articles and blogs when I am sitting here doing pay per click ads under keywords in our target market, I am not going to do that. These videos and the ebooks that are written are worth it because it enables people to make thousands and thousands of dollars, it enables people to do something that they have never been able to do before. It enables people who are making thousands and thousands of dollars every month to make more money. It enables people to be in control of their life, because me personally, I have been there, worked a job, I have worked different jobs since I was twelve years old. I have done hard work.

Now, working for somebody else, I do not believe that is secure, because they can lay you off at anytime for any reason. If the company is having problems, the first thing that they are going to do is layoffs without changing anything in their problems. They will not change their marketing, without increasing sales, if they layoff people who they are paying out, it immediately brings them back up to the line or put them over the line of profit. So that leaves you, who is working for somebody else, not secure. And that is what I found out.


Not that I ever was laid off, but I have heard and seen many people get the shock of their lives after many, many years of working for a company. All of a sudden they are laid off. Retirement down the drain, everything in the company that they had invested was just gone. Not only that, if you have a boss or a manager who is out for you for some reason, if you do anything wrong, even personally in your personal life, you might have gone out with them or talked with them outside your job, or anything on the job, or anything where they are all of a sudden offended, or do not like you, your job is in their hands. They can make your life miserable and can get you fired.

I found this out, this never happened to me, but I found this out just recently. People that are over you will control your career, they control when you advance or when you do not advance. So you cannot just say well, I am going to go out and make, you are making fifteen dollars an hour now, I am going to go out and make twenty-five dollars an hour and that is what I am going to do. Well, you cannot, not unless that boss gives you that raise and nobody gives you that raise at all. I find it sad that government jobs and teacher jobs and things of this sort, get raises every years like one or two percent, twenty cents, thirty cents, thirty-five cents, they are lucky if they get fifty cents. I really think that is sad.

Are you in the routine of constantly buying into different programs like the routine that other people fall into. I am not saying that this is a bad thing, it is a bad thing if you want to make money, but we have to face and look at what we are really doing. What is going on with our time when we are suppose to be marketing.

Now, what is the solution for this. Do it but do not spend all your time doing it. Allow yourself certain time to do it, if you want to check your email and look at sales processes and look at your email at everything that is coming in, full around with the search engines, set aside time for it. If you have a job and you work during the day, if you have a family you have to spend time with them, eat dinner. But whatever time you set aside for your business and by the way your business should be treated as a separate entity, you should a lot a time for you to check you email and look at the search engines and stuff like that.

The next question you probably want to ask yourself is how much time should I a lot for this. Well, allow fifteen, thirty minutes, an hour, that is all I would allow, I am not saying that I do not do that myself, I do check my email and stuff like that, but I a lot a time for myself to do that because it can become very unproductive. And basically when you are doing that you are not generating anything to make you money. Well, you might say that you are looking for products in your email and looking up in the search engines to help me market.

Well, if you already have stuff that you already bought, which nine out of ten people do that are teaching how to market, look at that material, spend your time reading. So I highly suggest that you do that. So let us just say that you have two hours a day, or three hours a day or four hours a day and you spend that half hour or hour doing emails, search engines or fooling around, well, now you have three hours to do the work that will make you the money. What things make you money.

Well, creating your sales process, your lead capture page, or your auto responder series, or if you already have that done, putting up new ads that go to that lead capture page that fall into your sales process. Finding new target markets, finding new keywords, putting up ads, following up, if you have some kind of follow up process, if you do a call a day, whatever you do, that is all part of making money for yourself. And you will soon find out, if you ever interview people that make ten thousand dollars a month, twenty thousand, thirty thousand, eighty thousand, a hundred thousand, you will find out that they are not there all day and all night trying to make that money.

You will find out that they probably will only spend two hours a day, two to four hours a day to make that amount of money. And occasionally when they are working on developing something, they might spend eight hours a day, or ten hours a day, but it is not for that long. And if you look at that from other people that work jobs and spend forty hours a week and some people work overtime, fifty, sixty, eighty hours a week, or if you have two jobs, it just does not add up, you are right, it does not.

That is why life in the home based business, when you do it correctly and apply the right marketing strategies, apply the right target process, the right marketing formula, you can make as much money as you want. I am not going to steer you wrong, I do not hide anything, as far as what I am sharing with you about marketing or what you should be doing or should not be doing, I might be blunt sometimes, but that is good, I do not beat around the bush. I routinely preach against top earners, heavy hitters out there or sponsors that lead you in the wrong direction telling you to do one thing when in actuality your sponsor, or the heavy hitter or top earner is doing something else.

People come to you with a problem, and what is your solution, you give them your product. You create an ad, tired of your problem, and then they go to your landing page and you talk more about it and you have your auto responder series and you product that you are selling and it will solve their problem. So that is target marketing. Same thing if you are selling meat, you are not going to sell it to the whole world, because part of the world does not eat meat. And the other part is what kind of meat are you selling, steak, well why sell only steaks if a lot of people only like chicken and fish. Sell to somebody who is looking to buy steak, that is target marketing. It is the same thing in our industry, you have to hit your target market when you work from home.

Now, this is a part of the reason why people fail. In this industry ninety to ninety-five percent of the people fail. Some people fail in this industry because they cannot control their mind, or they might be a little lazy, or they might have certain circumstances in their life holding them back from succeeding. And then the rest of everybody else is failing because they do not know how to market.

I have a very simple marketing formula, very simple, this is a marketing formula in the simple form. It is targeted traffic pointed towards a targeted landing page or sales page equals money or commissions. Now, everybody else in this industry comes, in this specific industry that we are in right now, comes to this industry wanting, they are basically honed in on the right side of that equation in the equals money or commissions. They see the money, they want the money.

Somebody is telling them I make thirty sales this past month, or I made a hundred thousand dollars last month, or eighty thousand dollars, or I am making ten thousand dollars or whatever. And that is all they see, and that is what they want. They want to come into this industry and not learn the left side of the equation and just make money without doing anything. Or they try staying up hours and hours during the day or late at night after the job trying to do this thing, this marketing thing, and are just doing it wrong. Or they spend all their time on the internet when they are suppose to be doing something to market, just wasting their time by checking their email the whole time, reading emails.

The whole purpose of emails is to get you to click through the subject line to the email. The whole purpose of the email inside of it is to get you to click through to the web page. The whole purpose of the web page is to either capture your name or to the sales page to convert you to the sale. So all this time spending doing that you are falling into other sales processes instead of creating your own sale process to make you money.

If you search around search engines and everything else, what do you see in the search engines, information, such as people in the top ten search engines. It is the same sales process, you get there, click through, they have a sales page or a lead capture page and you fall into the lead capture page. You put your name and email in and you get more information sent to your email than you ever did before.

They send you to a sales page with an offer for you to buy something, you buy that product, if you do, you have already spent all this time looking at it, reading the sales pages, going back and forth doing unnecessary research on it, because you do not belong there buying it anyway. All of a sudden you spend more money and what you should be doing is spending that money to make more money for yourself, because you are trapped in a day to day job, or your need to make more money for your family. And basically all this time, if you look at the time you spend doing this stuff, it is wasted time on time you should have been using to develop your own sales process in marketing and making money for yourself.

So on to the next section in target marketing. So you have your prospect, you targeted them, they click into your ad, they are on your landing page or your lead capture page. Next what do you people do, they try to target too many people at one time. They try to target and here let us just say somebody is trying to target mlm, 1 ups 2 ups, cash programs, courses, you name it, anything and everything that has to do with this industry all on one lead capture page. I am not saying you will not get any op-ins, I am not saying that. But how do we set that up. It needs a better ad.

If you are talking an ad like tired of failing because you do not know how to market in the ad, and the person clicks on your ad, what are they thinking, they are looking for a solution, more information about the ad on your landing page. And the people go off and talk about different things on the landing page. When I come to a landing page I am looking for you to talk more about why I am failing in marketing and what is my solution, what do I have to do. Well, the solution is I am going to share this niche with you, but you need to put your name and email address in here.

You want to give enough information where you are giving them more than what you have in that little tiny ad, but not enough to where you share the whole table of food. You want them to op-in if they are interested, they need a solution to their problem, it this problem fits them, they need to op-in so they can get more information to solve their problem. And then what is next, you send them a thank you page or a sales page of the product that you are selling and you are going to follow up with them with targeted auto responder series, again, talking more about the problem that they have and the solution.

Now, are you going to share more information with them in the auto responder series, yes. I mean you have to teach them something, that is the idea to provide some quality content. Are you going to give away the entire business, no. The solution, every auto responder series, the solution after that page always comes back to the product that you are selling. In my company we have a product that teaches you how to market from a marketing videos to all our ebook selections. We also have ebooks that share ways with you on how to make more money online. We also have ebooks that will help you in self improvement from procrastination to other things.

But the solution to this person’s problem is always going to come back to you product. Let us face it, this whole process of hitting your target market, getting them to come to your page, getting them to op-in in your auto responder series and following up is to sell them on your product. I am going to say that this is a sales industry, this is what this is, sales. It can be a sales process, but you can also look at it as providing a solution for people that are having problems. They choose to buy it, I just provide the solution and the product, and that is how it goes.

This same thing applies to everything you do online. If you are going to be an affiliate marketer online, same thing, if you are trying to sell something that is going to cure a particular disease, you are not going to go out and sell it to the whole world if they do not have that particular disease, one does not have anything to do with the other. So you have to find the keywords of the people that have that particular disease, who are looking for that particular keyword to solve their problem.

And the beautiful thing is when people have an agitation, they are coming and looking, whether they are looking online in the search engines, they are on websites and you have you ads out there on the websites, however you market online, however you marketing off line, in newspapers, magazines, billboards, however else you market off line. When people see the ad, when they come looking for the solution after looking up something, they are looking in a magazine for their particular problems and they see you ad or they are looking online, searching under their problem, they are all coming for a solution.

How many of those do you need to make money, not many. It’s a large industry. And so those millions and millions of people are already targeted. That is my number one target market, not to say that all my advertising goes to just them, but that’s my first target when I work from home. Second, once they sign up you will find out a lot of them are already familiar with this industry and know how to market, a lot of them usually know other people in the industry, like themselves, who they can refer the product to or the product of the business that you are in, whatever business you might be in, and so you can make another sale, an override.

If you are in an mlm company and you have a down line of four, six, eight or nine levels, that is how it goes, you make more sales. In my company I make a direct sale to someone in this industry and they refer five or six, eight, ten or forty other people in the first week or the first month, that is how many hundred dollar and two hundred dollar overrides I get, instantly, paid instantly to me. It is a better bang for my buck there also.

So, unlike people who are not familiar to this industry, they do not need as much training. Some just start right away, some get started right away and learn more from our product than how to market. So that is the number one target market, this industry. Now, I am not saying that you cannot target other people that are looking for a home based business or to work from home, I am saying that it is a different process, that is the target market, it is a different process.

First in your sales process you are going to have to convert them into wanting to have their own home based business. They are looking, they have not been sold on getting their own home based business. Second, you have to convert them on buying the product of whatever business you are in. Now, back to target marketing. This is why it is the same sales process, same marketing process for whatever you are marketing. The entry point is you have to have some kind of ad, and I am going to use pay per click right here, and again this will work, pay per click ads is the same thing if you use it for classified ads, online, off line newspapers, magazines, whatever it might be, it is all little small ads.

Now that small ad, when you write it, usually you get like three or four lines and that includes your website address. The first line, obviously, is the headline. You have to hit your target market and hit a problem that they have. For instance, cannot market, tired of failing in mlm, tired of not making sales, and basically you give them enough information to want to click on your ad and to go to the next page, which is your landing page, or your lead capture page.

In the ad that you write, here is a point where people make mistakes. They are targeting a keyword, they are targeting, let us just say, make money on line, but yet in their ad they are saying 1 ups or 2 ups are dead, or tired of not making money in mlm, or cannot make any sales, or whatever they might say, whatever problems people have. And they are targeting that home based business or make money on line. Well, it totally does not apply to them, they have never been in this industry, most of them.

So their ad is not targeted enough. Whereas, if they were targeting something in this industry like other keywords, it is targeted. If I am targeting people that are in 1 up or 2 up programs, why am I going to talk about mlm. Even though 1 up and 2 up programs are kind of in the mlm industry and are considered mlm, it is just like a qualification process to be an afflilate, but most people think of mlm as down lines, huge down lines or some type of down line. So I would say 1 ups and 2 ups instead of mlm. People routinely mess up their ad initially with that.

I would spend seventy-five dollars any day to make four hundred dollars, so that is not bad. But if you can do better when you work from home, why not do better. I am not saying do not accept that at that time, but why not tweak things a little better, test, test, test and make more money. So that’s not bad, it’s seventy-five dollars, we got four hundred dollars, that’s three hundred and twenty-five dollars profit in our pocket, not including the way I teach you to put some advertising dollars back, because you don’t want to rob yourself.

Now, I’m going to use one out of every three clicks on op-in, I’m going to use the same thing, twenty-five cents per click, so basically out of a hundred clicks, I’m going to get thirty-three op-ins. Now, why don’t you back up for a second and look at what we just talked about before this. My conversion is one op-in out of every three clicks, thirty-three op-ins. Again, I’m going to have the same sales process you have, the same follow up and everything that converts one out of every twenty people to a sale, one out of every twenty op-ins. At this point I’ve spent twenty-five dollars, thirty-three op-ins.

I have already made one sale, remember, we make one sale out of every twenty op-ins, that is according to our sales, according to what we have been doing. So I’ve already made one sale, four hundred dollars and we have spent twenty-five bucks and are well on my way to my second sale, because I already have thirteen op-ins more than twenty, I have got thirty-three. So I’ve already made four hundred dollars, got three seventy-five in my pocket faster than that other person that’s basically making a sale out of every three hundred clicks, I make one sale out of every hundred clicks and I get thirty-three op-ins.

So you can see the difference, to me, and to some people it might not be worthwhile. Some people are happy, okay I’ve spent seventy-five dollars and I’m making a sale for every seventy-five dollars I spend, I’d be happy with that, but I like to take things a little further. I like to put more money in my pocket, more op-ins, more bang for the buck. And once you get to that point of getting that ratio you just let it go. If the op-ins start to slow down a little bit, adjust your ad a little bit to get about the same ratio, to get one out of every three clicks to get an op-in. But as you can see, when you work from home as a business it’s more profitable.

Now back to keywords. The number one target market in this industry, just like anything else, remember I was talking about mortgages and the mortgage industry, if they could get people in the target market, they would do great. Here, it’s the same thing, who is your target market. The number one target market is other people in this industry. Why? Because they’ve already been pre-sold, if they have been in this industry they have bought a product in this industry, they have bought a course, they have been in an opportunity or something of the sort, they have been pre-sold in this industry an they want to work from home.

You don’t have to sell them about the home based business industry, they have already been in it. Why spend time, you know, if you are marketing toward keywords like make money online, get my home based business, marketing online or things of that sort, usually the people that are looking up under those keywords in the search engines, or any other advertising that you are doing to target market that keyword, usually they have not been in this industry. So in your sales process you first have to convince them that they need to join this type of industry, this type of thing to get their own home based business. Whereas me, if I am targeting where I am target marketing, the people in this industry, I don’t have to convince them of that, that part of the sales process is done before I have even got them to op-in to my page. It brings up your sales conversion rate.

Now you can see why if you do get into that target market right there that is too general, you might have some success, but you will not have as much success as you do as with very targeted marketing. So you need to target people in this industry. I hear this all the time, George, is it going to become saturated? No. There are millions and millions of people in the world, and the 1 ups, 2 ups, cash programs, courses in this industry, products in this industry, systems in this industry, marketing systems, sales centers, mlm programs in this industry, there are millions and millions of people across the world, so it’ll never be saturated.

Target Market Or Fail When You Work From Home Part Two

Now back to the home based industry. First target market is not people that, let us just say, let us look at some keywords. It is not like make money online, or make money at home or work from home. Those are target markets, but they are too general. Work at home, work at home moms, moms that work at home, make money from your computer, need a home based business, work from home. These are all too general. Not only are they general, but because they are so general you have people that are, let me just say that the competition is ridiculous in those keywords.

So what is going to happen is you are going to market in those keywords and you are going to pay a lot of money if you are doing pay per click or if you are trying to get listed in the search engines under those keywords or any other type of marketing you are going to pay too much, or you are not even going to get to your target market there that you are trying to reach. Not only that, but once you get there, because it is so general that you are not going to see the sales convert like you want them to.

There are people out there that convert one out of every ten op-in to a sale, one out of every fifteen, one out of every twenty to a sale. If you have been around this industry, if you have been around learning how to market online or learning conversion rates, people, marketers, top marketers are happy with converting one out of every hundred. We can take things a little bit further. Even the pay per click gurus that talk about pay per click tell me that what we do can’t be done, but we do it on a regular basis.

They say you cannot get an op-in ratio of higher than one out of fourteen clicks, or one out of every ten clicks, twelve clicks, basically less than ten click is impossible. But yet we repeatedly get one out of every two clicks to op-in, one out of every three clicks to op-in, one out of every four clicks to op-in repeatedly. Now what does that do for you, well let’s do the math here. This is what happens.

If you are doing advertising, you’re advertising target marketing, and let us just say you are doing pay per click, and you are getting op-ins, let us just say one out of every, let us do it the way the gurus say, what cannot be done, they say that if you are doing a really good campaign, you are optimized, your lead capture page is targeted, a good targeted ad and it is pulling really good, and say you are getting one out of every fourteen to op-in, let us look at that. And say you have got your auto responders series right and you have your sales conversion right and you are getting one out of every twenty people to sign up for a sale.

So basically out of every hundred clicks that you get from pay per click, because you get one out of every fourteen people that click on your ad to op-in, that is basically seven op-ins for every clicks. Now, if you remember right, I said that after they op-in our sale is processes, they get our auto responder series and anything else we have in there and about one out of every twenty op-ins convert to a sale. So we have seven people out of every hundred clicks, let us just pretend that we’re paying like twenty-five cents a click, so we have seven op-ins every hundred clicks times twenty-five cents, that is twenty-five bucks, you have paid twenty-five dollars for seven people to op-in to our page.

That breaks down to about three dollars and fifty-seven cents a week. Now, so we have seven people and yet we only have one that converts, one out of every twenty persons to a sale. So we have to have another hundred clicks just to get the fourteen, basically we need three hundred clicks to get twenty-one people to actually make a sale. So that is seventy-five dollars. In my company you make four hundred dollars as a direct sale, and if that person makes any sales I will make a hundred dollars a sale, I am only talking about direct profits right here, everything else is gravy.

Target Market Or Fail When You Work From Home

Part One

I am going to be talking about target marketing or fail when you work from home. This is a true scenario, I see it all the time. Usually the first time I look at someone’s material, whether they’re doing an offline mailing piece, an add, or an online mailing piece and a lead capture page, whatever it might be. First, I evaluate who their target market is. And what I find out is that the target market is too general. It’s not targeted enough for them to get a response.

And second, I find that their marketing pieces are targeting too many different people. So they’re not going to get the results they want. Not that they are not going to get any results, but they are not going to get the results that they are looking for when they work from home. And then last, but not least with some people I find that their target market is totally off base and so is their marketing pieces as a result.

If you can’t get this, you’ll probably lose a lot of money, get frustrated and probably quit and just move from opportunity to opportunity thinking that it is the program or the product, when it’s actually yourself. And it probably could be the product too, because nobody ever taught you this before. I am going to teach you stuff that will help your business when you work from home, I don’t care what business you are in, you can take this with you for life and apply it to any business you are currently in or ever do in the future.

I am also going to share stuff with you that other people will not share with you. I am going to share stuff with you that top earners and heavy hitters will not share with you because they fear competition. They fear you are going to take their sales. I fear no competition. I don’t put people down, I don’t try to bash people, I just market. I market properly. You can apply this to anything, just because it is pointed toward a home based business or network marketing or whatever it might be, does not mean you cannot apply it to anything else.

You can apply it to dog books, to repair manuals, health products that are not mlm, they are affiliate products that are just like things you might buy in health stores, in your local health store, you can market those online and make money. Again, you can use this for any business and not change your marketing strategies and be successful. It works with everything.

A lot of people want to know, okay how do I target market. If I am an affiliate for another program in the home based industry, if I have a network marketing program, if I have another program as a straight cash program or a 1 up or 2 up program, how do I market this thing effectively so I can make money. This also applies for people that are already making 30, 40 or 50 thousand dollars a month, or 80, or even a 100 thousand dollars a month, take these strategies and take your business to the next level.

Whether you learn new things to target market, new ways to target market or whether you learn how to cut your advertising budget in half and get the same results, if not more. When you are target marketing in this industry, and this applies to everything, if you could target customers, this is why customers are so important, customers are people that have bought past products, there is a list out there and I am not just talking about in this industry, if somebody is in the mortgage industry, there is a list, they get lists, not talking about going out and buying leads, just giving you an example here.

If they get lists of customers that have already bought a house before, have already gotten a mortgage, those are highly qualified. They get lists of people that have bought houses in the past two years, three years, four years or five years, it could be a mortgage company and they might want to refinance, it is valuable. Basically, it’s in the same industry.

Is Marketing Online Really That Hard

It amazes me how often I come across people that really know how to complain. Nobody comes to my site, I set up a website and there’s no traffic, I make appointments and they don’t show. I don’t want to bug my family and friends because I know they’re praying that I don’t bring up my business to them. I really don’t want to pick up the phone and start dialing again.

Every time I hear people complain about the way they market online I get a good chuckle. The first thing I think about is their daily schedule. What are these people doing on a daily basis, are they at the computer checking their emails, or responding to emails, or reading all the jokes they received for the day. I have often spoken to people on the phone and can hear all the distractions going on in the background. To me this is a viable honest to goodness serious business, if you don’t treat it like that, what do you expect.

In working with potential business owners, I have instructed them on exactly what to do on a daily basis. When I tell them that they need to do some writing and submit some press releases, articles and blogs, they kind of look at me a little strange. Again, this is not a game or a hobby, this is a serious business, treat it like one. If you spent a million or more dollars for a franchise, would you be checking your emails and sending jokes back and forth to your friends, I think not.

I understand that it is pretty difficult to be disciplined when you’re on your own with no one standing over you, but do you want to go back to that JOB and listen to someone else’s crap, not me. I know how hard it is to set up a schedule and to follow it, but it’s your choice, you always have a choice in every situation. Once you set your pattern for yourself and follow it, it becomes easier as each day passes and before you know it, it’s a habit and you don’t even think about it.

One way to set up your itinerary on how to market online is to start off small, do one or two things each day toward your business. It might entail doing a little research at first, look at what you are trying to accomplish, what you are planning to say, do or sell. Once you start your research you will get ideas from other information that is out there and there is plenty of information to keep you busy for quite some time.

Another way to come up with ideas is to constantly ask yourself some good questions about your business and what you are trying to achieve. Instead of listening to music or your favorite CD when you’re driving, that is the time to be thinking of what you are going to do, your plan of action, your goals, call it what you want, but get the brain zeroed in on your business and how to market online. Again, once you start this process it becomes habit and that’s one of the areas that you’re after in business is good habits.

There are people out there that really have a problem when it comes to starting a business and working online, the computer becomes very intimidating when it’s brand new, I know it was for me. I was totally lost and had no clue as to what was going on. I happen to be a very persistent person and kept on looking until I found people that would take the time and explain different things to me, they are out there. I actually went through a lot of people but am amazed at the really super nice people that you come across working on the net and learning how to market online.

A home business takes money if it is run as a sole ownership. However, starting a home based affiliate marketing business is a completely different ball of wax. Setting up a home based affiliate marketing business is relatively easy and there are several factors that make it very attractive.

One of the most desirable factors is the privilege of being able to work from your own home. Your home is your most comfortable surrounding. Everything you want and need is right there. You’ll have your line of products or services and ways to advertise them. You’ll also have support from a company representative. Running a business as a sole ownership can be extremely rewarding. If you are one of the lucky ones that make it, the financial rewards can be tremendous. However, the odds are stacked against you when you take this option. A home based affiliate marketing company minimizes the risk and offers you support when you need it. You will still have to work extremely hard, but the rewards will be well worth it.
