Target Market Or Fail When You Work From Home

Part One

I am going to be talking about target marketing or fail when you work from home. This is a true scenario, I see it all the time. Usually the first time I look at someone’s material, whether they’re doing an offline mailing piece, an add, or an online mailing piece and a lead capture page, whatever it might be. First, I evaluate who their target market is. And what I find out is that the target market is too general. It’s not targeted enough for them to get a response.

And second, I find that their marketing pieces are targeting too many different people. So they’re not going to get the results they want. Not that they are not going to get any results, but they are not going to get the results that they are looking for when they work from home. And then last, but not least with some people I find that their target market is totally off base and so is their marketing pieces as a result.

If you can’t get this, you’ll probably lose a lot of money, get frustrated and probably quit and just move from opportunity to opportunity thinking that it is the program or the product, when it’s actually yourself. And it probably could be the product too, because nobody ever taught you this before. I am going to teach you stuff that will help your business when you work from home, I don’t care what business you are in, you can take this with you for life and apply it to any business you are currently in or ever do in the future.

I am also going to share stuff with you that other people will not share with you. I am going to share stuff with you that top earners and heavy hitters will not share with you because they fear competition. They fear you are going to take their sales. I fear no competition. I don’t put people down, I don’t try to bash people, I just market. I market properly. You can apply this to anything, just because it is pointed toward a home based business or network marketing or whatever it might be, does not mean you cannot apply it to anything else.

You can apply it to dog books, to repair manuals, health products that are not mlm, they are affiliate products that are just like things you might buy in health stores, in your local health store, you can market those online and make money. Again, you can use this for any business and not change your marketing strategies and be successful. It works with everything.

A lot of people want to know, okay how do I target market. If I am an affiliate for another program in the home based industry, if I have a network marketing program, if I have another program as a straight cash program or a 1 up or 2 up program, how do I market this thing effectively so I can make money. This also applies for people that are already making 30, 40 or 50 thousand dollars a month, or 80, or even a 100 thousand dollars a month, take these strategies and take your business to the next level.

Whether you learn new things to target market, new ways to target market or whether you learn how to cut your advertising budget in half and get the same results, if not more. When you are target marketing in this industry, and this applies to everything, if you could target customers, this is why customers are so important, customers are people that have bought past products, there is a list out there and I am not just talking about in this industry, if somebody is in the mortgage industry, there is a list, they get lists, not talking about going out and buying leads, just giving you an example here.

If they get lists of customers that have already bought a house before, have already gotten a mortgage, those are highly qualified. They get lists of people that have bought houses in the past two years, three years, four years or five years, it could be a mortgage company and they might want to refinance, it is valuable. Basically, it’s in the same industry.
